"We caught feelings"

This is an expression that surely rises against love as that innocent, free-willed and random happening. It gets caught, not randomly shot by cupid, nor something that takes us over. We can capture it, we have the power, we stand as the strong owners of our hearts.

Then there is the flip side of the coin, if falling in love is a proactive intention, then, one can go unnoticed through it's ways. It is my choice, I´m free, I don't get caught, I don't want feel love if I don't need to...

The need to, the power of seizing love. Are we ready to have such responsibility? Because holding the power, means having the responsibility to be conscious about what goes on inside the soul. There is no running away, I have to surge against my angsts if I want my feelings towards someone to be my own.

As the world loses its mystic powers, and life gets pull of its mysteries, love becomes tangible, controllable and no longer self-driven...

Where's the beauty in that? If I can't be surprised, I can't feel alive...
